Six lawyers, advising Tanzanian and international clients on commercial and private client work.
We advise businesses, investors and private clients on commercial and personal legal work, every piece of it under Tanzanian law.
Daniel Morrow founded the firm in Dar es Salaam in 2008, after several years in which he watched sound advice arrive too late to be of use. The firm was built around a single rule. Each lawyer carries fewer cases, and a partner stays on yours from the first conversation until it is finished.
We work across corporate and commercial work, property and projects, employment, banking and finance, dispute resolution and private client work. Where a case needs a specialist we do not have, we say so and bring in counsel we have worked with before.

Work slows down when responsibility is divided between four people who each hold a quarter of it. We keep the team small, keep a partner on the file, and keep the route to a decision short.
You receive the issue, the exposure and the recommended next step, without the answer buried inside legal language.
We consider the effect of the advice on your business, your family and your reputation, as well as what the law provides.
The partner leading your case reviews it directly, so you hear about any change in your position straight away.
A few lines on what is happening, the people or companies involved, and any deadline you face. Please do not send confidential documents until we have confirmed the conflict check.
A single partner leads it, and we name them. We confirm who that is, and who else will be involved, before substantive work begins.
Yes. We regularly handle the Tanzanian elements of a transaction led by an international firm, and we work alongside regional counsel where a case crosses borders.
We agree the scope and the fee basis before starting. Where the work is well defined we can agree a fixed or staged fee, so you are not billed by the hour.
Tell us who is involved and any date you are up against. We run the conflict check first, then confirm which partner would take your case and what it would cost.
